Derry man to speak at '˜Living with suicide' day

ZEST Co-Director, Conor McCafferty will speak at Lough Derg's Living with Suicide Day.

A Derry man will be the guest speaker at a special retreat day at Lough Derg later this month.

Conor McCafferty from Zest, Healing the Hurt will speak at ‘Living with Suicide’ retreat day on Wednesday, September 21.

The day offers those who have been affected by suicide in any way an opportunity for deeper understanding and support to ‘make sense of it all’.

Also speaking at the retreat will be Geraldine Kennedy who share her own personal experience of loss to suicide. The spiritual director for the day will be Father Cathal Deery from the Diocese of Clogher who is one of the ministerial team on Lough Derg.

Pat Storey will speak at a special ecumenical day at Lough Derg.

A day of friendship and prayer will be held at Lough Derg on Wednesday, September 14. Reverend Patricia Storey, formerly of St. Augustine’s Church, will be the guest speaker on the day.
