A large scale power outage is ongoing in the Waterside area of Derry with homes, businesses and traffic lights affected.
Shops and businesses at Crescent Link Retail Park were closed this morning while traffic lights nearby were also not functioning.
Northern Ireland Electricity Networks states that 3,670 customers are affected by the huge outage, which was first noted in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday.
The estimated restoration time is 12.30pm at this stage with reports of teams on site at the moment and a repair team on its way.

SDLP Waterside Councillor Martin Reilly said: “Power cut affecting many homes across the Waterside this morning. NIE hope to have people reconnected asap.”
The Western Trust meanwhile has confirmed that both Altnagelvin Hospital and Gransha Park sites were not affected by the Power Outage.
The Trust did experience outages in some of its community sites including Ronseal Children’s home and Seymour Gardens, but power has now been restored to these facilities.
