Hikers bump into Mel Gibson at the top of mountain in Ireland
Three friends got a shock when they ran into Hollywood star, Mel Gibson, at the top of a mountain in Ireland.
Heather Fogarty and pals Michael O’Connor and Shane Gallagher were hiking up Sugarloaf mountain in Co. Wicklow on Sunday when they ran into the Oscar winning director.
“Climbed the Sugar Loaf today,” said Heather on Instagram.
“It was great fun bit of yoga thrown in and to top it all off we met Mel Gibson at the summit! #SolidSunday.”
Gibson (60) is currently in Ireland filming ‘The Professor and the Madman’.
The film also stars Sean Penn and Natalie Dormer and is about the man who compiled the first ever Oxford English Dictionary.
