Children and young people in Strabane are set to benefit from a new community sensory space thanks to funding from the Housing Executive.

Lisnafin Ardnalee Trust CCDA has been awarded over £3,400 through the Housing Executive's Community Involvement grant for its Community Sensory Support Project.

This will allow it to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where young people can relax, regulate their emotions and take part in positive community activities.

Funding will be used to purchase a range of sensory equipment, including projection lights, sensory spin chairs and sensory tents.
