Yet away from his job as the city's GAA Games Promotion Officer, the Doire Trasna stalwart has filled almost every role possible in the Waterside club, should it be managing the senior team to a couple of Junior Championship victories or over-seeing the blossoming underage structures.
His tireless work means there few better placed to cast his eye over the best of the Pearses playing staff and select his own 'Doire Trasna Dream 15' and he's picked quite a squad. See what you make of it . . .
13. HALF-FORWARD: Ciaran McKenna

14. FULL FORWARD: Cormac Carlin
Outstanding natural talent, Cormac can score with either foot. Has excellent movement and awareness of players around him. Can play in a number of positions. | jpimedia Photo: Derry Journal
15. FORWARD: Micheal McNaught
Is there a better left foot in this division than Micheal? Consistent scorer every season and scored a wonder goal in 2017 final. Can play midfield or in the forwards. Outstanding fielding ability and great vision. | jpimedia Photo: Derry Journal
16. SUB: Caolan Doyle
Midfield was very difficult to select! Since returning from working abroad, Caolan has formed a formidable midfield alongside Quigley. Suffered horrific injury in Ulster quarter final and was badly missed. Another leader. | jpimedia Photo: Derry Journal
