The multi-award nominated performer, writer and creative facilitator has announced she offer free workshops to anyone attending her five star play ‘Vessel’ on Friday, March 20.

Vessel’ tells the story of Ireland, 2018. Abortion is still illegal, another pregnant girl dies and Maia is forced into action- a story that could divide a nation, win or lose a vote, and make history.

The accompanying free ‘She’s a…’ workshop uses poetry, pop songs and post-it notes to explore female identity and power, the labels we are given and the stories we choose to tell about ourselves.

“The “MeToo” and the “Repeal the 8th” campaign were the first steps in a vital conversation about women’s bodies. ‘She’s a…’ workshop is a creative and collaborative way to further that conversation” Laura Wyatt O’Keeffe said.

Each participant is invited to bring a song or poem and newspaper article to share with the group and to work with throughout the sessions, and the participants will use music, newspaper articles and group discussion to create poetry.
