Greater Shantallow Community Arts to bring the Hocus Pocus to the City of Bones
Greater Shantallow Community Arts are bringing the iconic Sanderson Sisters to the ‘City of Bones’ this Halloween.
Greater Shantallow Community Arts said they were ‘delighted’ to, once again, be invited by Derry and Strabane District Council to take centre stage in this year’s internationally-renowned Derry Halloween celebrations .
With only a few short weeks to go before the historical walled city comes to life with Europe’s biggest and boldest Halloween festival GSCA’s Artistic Director, Ollie Green said their ‘Hocus Pocus’ will be ‘unmissable’. “Once again it is amazing to see our city coming to life in such a spectacular and creative way, bringing a time of fun and magic and a much needed economic boost to our city and its business community.
“We are delighted to be working closely with our creative partners in the Rainbow School of Dance and Northwest Carnival Initiative to bring our city centre to life over the whole week of Halloween and look forward to welcoming the many thousands of visitors who will be amazed by the magic, the music and the mischief as the Sanderson Sisters return to the City of Bones and frighten the life out of all who dare to cross their path!

“With six shows nightly taking centre stage in Waterloo Place, this promises to be an unmissable start to a magical Awakening the Walls Halloween Trail that awaits all our guests.”
GSCA/Studio 2’s ‘Hocus Pocus’ will run from October 28 to 30, with six shows per night from 6pm until 9pm.
