Aaron McEneff called up for Ireland duty
The former Derry City midfielder has been in sparkling form for champions Shamrock Rovers this season and has earned his first international call-up.
McEneff, who represented Northern Ireland at various levels, followed in the footsteps of fellow Derry men James McClean, Darron Gibson, Eunan O’Kane and Shane Duffy when changing his international allegiance in 2016.

Hide AdLast week Rovers manager Stephen Bradley claimed McEneff was the best all round midfielder in the country and he joins up with his teammates, Jack Byrne and Graham Burke, as well as his former Derry City teammate, Ronan Curtis ahead of tomorrow’s match.
U21 duo Troy Parrott and Jack Taylor were also called up as late replacements for Wednesday's crunch match at the Aviva Stadium.
Jeff Hendrick has been ruled out of the Bulgaria through suspension due to his red card against Wales. Jayson Molumby has also been suspended as he picked up his second yellow card of the UEFA Nations League campaign.
Forward Adam Idah has also been ruled out of the Bulgaria match through injury and has returned to his club.
