The City faithful are hopeful of a good campaign for Declan Devine's side who have brought back local duo Danny Lafferty and David Parkhouse to the Brandywell.
It's also a big season for young goalkeeper Nathan Gartside, who received a shock call up to Ian Baraclough's Northern Ireland squad for next week's World Cup qualifying games against Italy and Bulgaria and Derry fans are hoping he has an impressive year between the sticks.

I'm really looking forward to this season, but just with the current restrictions it's a pity we can't be at the games, but hopefully in the future we'll be back in the Brandywell. I'm also really, really looking forward to seeing the likes of Parky back and Daniel Lafferty.

I'm really looking forward to the season and obviously getting back to the Brandywell is a major issue for me. I've really missed the match night experience! Watch LOI is no substitute. I'm looking forward to see Parky back in Candystripes. And of course the wee bit of hype around Joe Hodge has interested me as well.

Everybody will be absolutely buzzing about getting back into the Brandywell and I, for one, can’t wait for that first match back with all the boys as the atmosphere is going to be electric. I think we have signed well and hopefully big Parky is back firing in the goals for us. Defensively we look solid and hopefully Nathan Gartside can have a good season, as it will be his first as number one.

I lost interest a bit in us getting a European place last season but overall I was probably more engaged in the whole league because of the WatchLOI service. My Snapchat memory story recently showed me and all the mates in the Brandywell - it nearly made me cry! That tells you how much I’m looking forward to getting back into the Brandywell. I really can’t wait.
